Description of the wine private tour

Pass By: Our journey begins with a pleasant morning drive through Athens and its charming surrounding areas. As we make our way, we’ll pass through several notable towns, each with its unique history and significance. Megara, once reigned by King Bizas, holds a special place in mythology. It’s here that Byzantium city, later known as “Constantinople,” derived its name. Next, we’ll encounter Elefsina, a place steeped in ancient mysteries. The Elefsinia Mysteries, celebrated in this town, were significant religious ceremonies that played an important role in Greek culture.

From here, we’ll continue our drive through several resort towns, such as Ag. Theodoroi and Kineta, offering a glimpse into the region’s vibrant seaside culture. Finally, our journey culminates as we arrive at the famous Corinth Canal, an engineering marvel that cuts through the Isthmus of Corinth, connecting the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf. This impressive feat of human ingenuity has transformed the Peloponnese into an island.
